(Chairman)
I moved into the area six years ago, with my wife Mandy and two daughters Tia and Millie. I joined
the committee earlier this year as Vice Chairman. I worked in the city for 20 years until 2006, when I left
to start my own business. I especially enjoy the BNCA quiz nights and helping out behind the bar. You can often
see me cheering on 'The Gunners' now we have Sky sports.

I have lived in Black Notley for 40 years and was a member of the hospital Sports and Social Club
before the BNCA was formed in 1993/4. I well remember Semprini officially opening the pool in about 1970!
What a great day that was! All my children learned to swim there and we spent many happy hours both at
the pool and at functions in the hall. I had a very active role in the setting up and running of the
Association for many years and am proud to see it continue and flourish now for the new generations of users.
I believe strongly in this community asset and urge members to give as well as take.
Any little help is and will be appreciated.

Hello. I have lived in Black Notley for 8 years with my wife Kim and daughters Lilli and Holly.
Over the past 18 months or so I have been involved in volunteering for “bar duties” and BNCA
Committee membership. With the help of everyone in the surrounding area I believe that the
BNCA can be a thriving hub for all members of the community. Thank you, and if you ever see me
please do not hesitate to ask me for more information about how you can get involved.
We need all the help we can get
